Медиакорпорация "Би-Би-Си" запустила в своем инстаграме проект под названием BBC Instafax. Журналисты компании стали выкладывать в соцсеть короткие новостные видеоролики.

Первый ролик был опубликован 16 января. В 15 секунд (такова максимальная продолжительность видео в Instagram) создатели клипа уложили несколько кадров с процесса по делу об убийстве бывшего премьер-министра Ливана Рафика Харири, сообщает MMR. Кадры сопровождаются короткими фразами, рассказывающими, как погиб Харири и кто подозревается в его убийстве.

Второе видео, опубликованное через полтора часа после первого, рассказывает о небывалой жаре, установившейся в январе в Австралии. На момент написания этой заметки ролики BBC Instafax в общей сложности собрали 29 "лайков". Всего на инстаграм BBC News подписано около 4600 человек.

Формат коротких видеоновостей становится все популярнее среди медиакомпаний по всему миру. Новостные ролики длиной от нескольких секунд до нескольких минут активно используют, к примеру, CNN, The Guardian, The New YOrk Times и The Washington Post. Специализирующийся на этом формате новостной портал NowThisNews в середине января заключил партнерское соглашение на использование своего контента с телеканалом NBC. Тем не менее, BBC Instafax, судя по всему, является первым подобным проектом, запущенным непосредственно в одной из соцсетей.
