Під час оновлення програмного забезпечення на Нью-Йоркській фондовій біржі стався збій. В результаті вартість акцій деяких компаній впала на 99%. В тому числі і вартість угоди, яку уклав мільярдер Воррен Баффет.

Про це повідомляє Bloomberg. 

Ситуація сталася вранці у понеділок за місцевим часом. Компанія Consolidated Tape Association, яка забезпечує роботу програм на біржі, намагалася оновити софт. 

У результаті на 40 дисплеях біржі відображалася недостовірна інформація і можна було купувати акції компаній із “знижкою” у 99%. 

Такий безлад тривав 45 хвилин, поки не повернулися до попереднього програмного забезпечення.

Постраждала і угода між Berkshire Hathaway Воррена Баффета та NuScale Power Corp. 

Акції компанії Баффета класу А упали до $185,10. Для порівняння, наприкінці п’ятниці вони коштували  $627,4 тис. за одну. NuScale Power Corp. мала такі ж проблеми.

Біржа пообіцяла скасувати усі угоди, укладені в період збою.
