Група французьких кухарів побила рекорд Гіннеса, створивши піцу із 1001 сортом сиру. 940 із них були французькими і 61 походить із інших куточків світу. Про це повідомляє сайт Книги рекордів Гіннеса. 

Над рекордною піцою працювали шефи Бенуа Брюель і Фаб’єн Монтелланіко, а також сироварка Софі Хата Річарт-Луна та YouTube-блогер Florian OnAir.

Їхньою задачею було створити піцу із якомога більшою кількістю різноманітних сортів сиру. До них рекорд із  834 сортів сиру у піці належав кухареві Моргану Нікьє.

Бенуа уже встановлював цей рекорд у 2020 році, коли приготував піцу з 254 різними сирами, але втратив першість через рік після того.

Кухар каже, багато фермерів пропонували йому свої сири задарма – їм просто хотілося бути частиною світового рекорду.

Від кожного сиру кухарі відрізали кубик вагою 2 грами і клали його на основу для піци, причому м’які сири викладалися поверх більш твердих. Корж для піци був уже готовий – його спекли заздалегідь, аби він не розламався від такої кількості сиру. 

Аби усі сири тримали купи, на піцу одягнули кулінарне кільце. Коли через 2 хвилини сири трохи обєдналися, кільце зняли. Потім поставили піцу у піч на 20 сек, аби сири прогрілися, і подавали.

Бенуа, який пече піцу уже 13 років, каже – не збирається зупинятися. Хоче зробити її із ще більшою кількістю сортів сиру – зібрати усі можливі у світі.
