Качечка на прізвисько Морщинка в листопаді втретє пробігла Нью-Йоркський марафон і здобула медаль. Її господарі опублікували відео в TikTok та на YouTube. Про це розповідає Yahoo. 

Скільки часу знадобилося птахові на подолання дистанції, невідомо. Судячи з відео, Морщинка почала забіг у ранковий або денний час, а закінчила з настанням темряви.

Попередньо Морщинка підкріпилась огірком. Під час марафону качці пропонували пончик, але вона відмовилася. На дистанції Морщинка та її господар робили паузи, щоб сфотографуватися з усіма охочими та привітати шанувальників. Зустрічали качку дуже тепло.

Морщинка бере участь у Нью-Йоркському марафоні з 2021 року. Вона завжди біжить дистанцію у спеціальних черевичках з перетинками, що захищають її лапки. В очікуванні марафону птах тренується в інших локаціях, наприклад, на подвір’ї.
