Частые выборы в Украине стали "проклятием", от которого необходимо избавляться. Такое мнение в ходе пресс-конференции в "Обозревателе" высказал народный депутат Украины Иван Кириленко.

"Каждый год в этой стране как проклятие – выборы. Каждый год мы разрывали страну. Каждый год", - сказал он.

По мнению нардепа, на сегодняшний день Верховная Рада в нынешнем составе должна принять изменения в Конституцию. В новой версии Основного Закона должна быть отражена идея децентрализации власти и предоставления больших прав регионам. В этом контексте Кириленко напомнил о том, что сегодня в парламенте сформировалось ситуативное большинство, составляющее порядка 300 народных депутатов.

Далее, по словам нардепа, необходимо провести внеочередные выборы – "и парламентские, и местные, чтобы один раз потратиться".  "Давайте проголосуем за изменения в Конституцию и честно пойдем на выборы – все", - призвал он коллег-депутатов.

А затем необходимо "на пять лет успокоить страну", - сказал он. "Дайте хотя бы пять лет поработать президенту, правительству, парламенту и местному самоуправлению. Мы уже дотерзали страну", - подчеркнул он.
