Народний депутат від "Європейської Солідарності" Олексій Гончаренко заявив, що не буде балотуватися у мери столиці на місцевих виборах 25 жовтня. Про це повідомляє портал, з посиланням  на Telegram політика.

"Для того, щоб не дати "зеленим" жодного шансу, патріотичним проєвропейським силам столиці потрібно об’єднуватися і в жодному разі не можна розділяти голоси. Тому я, підтримуючи курс партії ЄС, прийняв рішення не йти на вибори мера Києва", – повідомив він.

Гончаренко додав, що як народний депутат продовжить робити все, "щоб Києвом управляли не з кабінетів Банкової, а з кабінету обраного киянами мера".

"І перша важлива ініціатива уже в роботі. Я подав у Верховну Раду законопроєкт, за яким київський міський голова автоматично має призначатись главою КМДА", – наголосив він.

Гончаренко зауважив, що "спроби позбавити киян права на самоврядування є неконституційними, недемократичними та суперечать самому духу європейської спільноти, частиною якої ми є. Європа закінчується там, де закінчується самоврядування". 
 
"Тому жодного шансу для "зеленого авторитаризму" цієї осені. Наша ціль буде досягнена. Влада залишиться в руках киян. А "слугам" можу лише побажати гарного польоту. Якомога далі від Києва. Зеленими в Києві будуть тільки каштани", – резюмував народний депутат.
