У населених пунктах, віднесених в "червону" карантинну зону, не скасовуватимуть місцеві вибори.

Як повідомляє UATV, про це заявив член Центральної виборчої комісії Сергій Постивий.

"Наявність "червоної" зони, згідно з постановою уряду, по суті не є підставою для того, щоб не проводити вибори", - сказав він.

Постивий уточнив, що зараз в ЦВК немає інформації про існування будь-яких перспектив скасування або перенесення виборів в Україні або на окремих її територіях у зв'язку з карантином.

Він додав, що згідно з українським законодавством, існує тільки дві причини для скасування виборів до місцевих рад 25 жовтня - введення воєнного чи надзвичайного стану.

Разом з тим, член ЦВК не виключив, що скасування або перенесення виборів "теоретично можливі" в разі введення надзвичайного стану, проте це складний процес.

"На сьогодні говорити, що будуть якісь скасування, у нас поки підстав немає", - резюмував Постивий.
