Кандидатка від "Слуги Народу" на посаду міського голови Києва Ірина Верещук заявила, що метро на Троєщину - це дорога утопія.

Про це Верещук сказала в інтерв'ю виданню "Хмарочос".

"Людей лише продовжують годувати старими обіцянками на кшталт троєщинської гілки метро, у будівництві якої я не бачу сенсу...Метро на Троєщину — це дорога утопія, на якій, коштом міського бюджету, наживатимуться підрядники", - сказала нардеп.

Замість метро Верещук пропонує пустити на Троєщину швидкісні трамваї.

"Я взагалі не вірю у гігантоманські інфраструктурні проєкти, які тягнуться роками і на яких крадуть всі, хто може. Я вірю у проєкти, які можна реалізувати максимум за два роки. Для людей, які вболівають за своє місто, не буде проблемою знайти інвесторів, які зможуть гарантувати такий результат", - пояснила кандидатка в мери столиці.

Також Верещук зауважила, що вважає пріоритетним для Києва зелений транспорт.
