Раздача кандидатами избирателям денег, продуктов питания, алкогольных или табачных изделий - это подкуп, и за него и кандидат, и избиратель могут лишиться свободы на 2 года.

Об этом заявила в эфире телеканала "Украина 24" председатель правления Гражданской сети "ОПОРА" Ольга Айвазовская, передает "Интерфакс-Украина".

"Кодексы – и Избирательный, и Уголовный – стали более точными, учитывая именно украинские практики. То есть там даже выписано, что продукты питания, чего раньше не было, табачные и алкогольные изделия, независимо от суммы стоимости этих изделий будут трактоваться как подкуп", - сказала Айвазовская.

Она призвала избирателей не принимать подарки от кандидатов, поскольку они также будут нести ответственность за их получение.

"В кодексе написано, что, по сути, нет логичной связи между тем, что вы взяли что-нибудь – подарок, деньги от кандидата, - и проголосовали. Вы можете даже не прийти на выборы, но в момент принятия предложения, если оно задокументировано, то вы будете нести ответственность. К примеру, для избирателя это 2 года ограничения свободы или 2 года заключения. Наверное, не стоят те 100-200 гривень или продуктовый набор любых ограничений свободы или высоких штрафов", - подчеркнула Айвазовская.
