Президент Польши Анджей Дуда сегодня, 8 мая, подписал закон о проведении президентских выборов с помощью почты из-за пандемии коронавируса.

Как передает Цензор.НЕТ, об этом сообщает польский канал RMF24.

Так, ранее поддержанный польским Сеймом закон о проведении дистанционного голосования на нынешних президентских выборах вступит в силу после публикации в "Официальном вестнике".

Закон позволяет организовать президентские выборы посредством почты, чтобы избирателям не пришлось идти на участки.

Как пишут СМИ, теперь запланированные на 10 мая президентские выборы в Польше не состоятся, поскольку государственная избирательная комиссия не успела подготовить все необходимое для их проведения.

В дальнейшем Верховный суд должен признать выборы несостоявшимися, после чего спикер Сейма объявит об организации новых выборов.

Отмечается, что дистанционное голосование должно состояться в июне или июле этого года.
