Байден відповів на запитання, чи призначив би він Мішель Обаму віцепрезидентом, якби вона захотіла: "Я би взяв її, не моргнувши й оком".

Проте Байден сумнівається, що колишня перша леді зацікавлена в роботі віцепрезидентом.

Кандидат у президенти США наголосив, що на цю посаду розглядає лише жінку.

 "Я вважаю своїм обов'язком, щоб це була жінка, оскільки важливо, щоб моя адміністрація мала вигляд суспільства, щоб вона була схожа на націю".

Нагадуємо, 13 квітня стало відомо, що Джо Байден переміг Берні Сандерса на президентських праймеріз у штаті Вісконсін.

На минулому тижні сенатор Берні Сандерс вийшов з виборчих перегонів у США і не буде боротися за номінацію від Демократично партії на президентських виборах. Обама підтримав Байдена на пост президента США
