2 июля спикер Верховной рады Андрей Парубий направил сообщение президенту Парламентской Ассамблеи Совета Европы Лилиане Мори Паскье в котором сказано о том, что Верховная рада отозвала свое приглашение наблюдать за досрочными парламентскими выборами в Украине 21 июля 2019 года. Об этом сообщает PRпортал, ссылаясь на "РБК- Україна".
26 июня Парламентская Ассамблея Совета Европы приняла решение о подтверждении полномочий делегации Российской Федерации без ограничений, несмотря на нарушения принципов СЕ. Андрей Парубий считает, что среди наблюдателей не могут быть представители страны-агрессора - России, которые будут не наблюдателями, а "агентами гибридной войны Путина".
Наблюдатели ПАСЕ находились в Киеве 2 и 3 июля. После отзыва приглашения на досрочные выборы в Верховную раду наблюдатели Парламентской ассамблеи Совета Европы в Украине досрочно завершают свою работу. Все запланированные наблюдателями ПАСЕ встречи были отменены. По мнению президента Парламентской ассамблеи Совета Европы Лилиан Мори Паскье, Украина обязана приглашать наблюдателей ПАСЕ для мониторинга избирательных кампаний.
