Центральная избирательная комиссия на сегодняшнем заседании приняла решение зарегистрировать кандидатом в народные депутаты на внеочередных выборах в Верховную Раду блогера Анатолия Шария, который намерен баллотироваться в украинский парламент от своей политсилы "Партия Шария". Видео заседания ЦИК на своей странице в Facebook обнародовала гражданская сеть "Опора".

Такое решение ЦИК принял на заседании во вторник большинством голосов во исполнение постановления Верховного Суда от 30 июня по заявлению политсилы "Партия Шария".

24 июня ЦИК отказал Шарию в регистрации кандидатом в народные депутаты на выборы в Верховную Раду. Позже Верховный Суд отказался признавать тот факт, что Шарий не проживает в Украине в течение последних пяти лет.

С 2014 года Шарий ведет видеоблог, где критикует события в Украине после Евромайдана и действующую украинскую власть.

Он длительное время занимался журналистской деятельностью в Украине. После возбуждения против него уголовного дела из-за стрельбы в McDonald's уехал в ЕС и поселился в Литве, где получил статус беженца. Сейчас живет в Нидерландах.

В июле 2017 года нардеп от "Народного фронта" Антон Геращенко заявил, что интернет-издание журналиста Анатолия Шария существует на деньги спецслужб Российской Федерации.
