Издает глянец компания American Media Inc., которой владеют друзья и сторонники Дональда Трампа. Этот холдинг издает также таблоиды о жизни звезд типа National Enquirer, пишет Телекритика
 
 

То, что издательство запустило в США новый журнал, посвященный всего одному человеку, свидетельствует также о том, что наследный принц является товарищем Дональда Трампа. Кстати, администрация президента США договорилась с Саудовской Аравией, что продаст арабскому государству оружия на $12,5 миллиардов.

Стоит этот журнал в розницу $13,99. Тираж – 200 тысяч экземпляров. Примечательно, что в нем нет никакой рекламы.

По содержанию журнал очень похож на то, как провластные медиа пишут о визитах куда-либо глав государств: приехал, встретился, договорились о взаимовыгодном сотрудничестве, пожали руки, ну и краткий экскурс в то, чем известен человек, его достижения. Еще в данном журнале представлена «стратегия развития мира 2030» по-саудовски.

Глянцем Мохаммед бин Салман не ограничился, решив поехать в рекламное турне по США. Недавно крон-принц посетил Кремниевую долину, где встретился с Тимом Куком и Сергеем Брином.

 

 

 

 

 
 
В ноябре бин Салман инициировал арест более 200 официальных лиц Саудовской Аравии и бизнесменов, которые были задержаны в Эр-Рияде в фешенебельном отеле The Ritz-Carlton. Аресты были представлены властями как подавление коррупции, но появились сообщения о том, что к задержанным применяли силу и принуждали выплачивать крупные штрафы в несудебном порядке, проще говоря, имело место банальное вымогательство.
