За словами Метта Дональд Трамп вимагав роль у фільмах в обмін на можливість зйомок в Башті Трампа та інших своїх будівлях. Саме цим, на думку актора, пояснюється кількість ролей нинішнього глави Білого Дому.

Так, за умовами угоди Трамп навіть брав участь в зйомках фільму “Запах жінки” з Аль Пачіно, який вийшов в 1992 році. Однак епізод з ним так і не з'явився в остаточній версії кінокартини: його вирізали при фінальному монтажі.

“Якщо ви хотіли знімати кінострічку в одному з будинків Трампа, ви повинні були прописати йому роль. Режисер Мартін Брест вимушено написав щось для “Запаху жінки” - і вся команда брала участь в цій сцені” - каже Метт.

“Тобто потрібно було витратити годину робочого дня на марну зйомку: Дональд Трамп входить, Аль Пачіно говорить щось на кшталт “Здрастуйте, містер Трамп”, а потім він йде. Обов'язково потрібно було назвати його по імені.”- додає актор.

Деймон відзначив, що команда зазвичай витрачала небагато часу на зйомки з нинішнім президентом США. Після зйомки Трампа сцену з його участю можна було вирізати.
