Онлайн-ресурси прокремлівської пропаганди висунули нову "теорію змови": нібито нинішній президент Франції Еммануель Макрон "допоміг Києву влаштувати Майдан" у 2013-14 рр.

В якості "підтвердження" своєї теорії сепаратистські сайти посилаються на листи канцелярії Макрона, нібито здобуті організацією WikiLeaks, повідомляє StopFake .

На думку одного з сайтів, в листуванні штабу Макрона "є недвозначні натяки на підтримку" революційних подій в Україні. За логікою сепаратистів, це вказує на його участь в організації подій на Майдані.

Фейк аналогічного змісту був поширений цілим рядом онлайн-ресурсів. Вони посилаються на повідомлення від активіста Соцпартії Квентіна Гіймана, який підтримав Євромайдан. 7 грудня 2013 року Гійман пише:

"Дорогі друзі, ми нарешті в Києві. Ви можете слідкувати за подіями в Україні по сайту... ". У відповідь штаб Макрона пише: "Відмінна робота", і сам Макрон додає: "Відмінна робота, хлопці".

Сайт, на який посилається Гійман, лише описує події на Майдані від імені французької делегації. Інших спроб підтвердити "слід Макрона" немає.
