Російський журналіст і колишній депутат Держдуми РФ Олександр Хінштейн призначений на посаду радника директора Федеральної служби військ національної гвардії РФ (Росгвардія), повідомили в інформаційному центрі відомства.

"Олександр Хінштейн призначений на посаду радника директора Росгвардії. Він буде працювати в області правового забезпечення й нормотворення щодо Росгвардії, а також займатиметься деякими питаннями інформаційного забезпечення", - цитує співрозмовника ТАСС.

Джерело уточнило, що Хінштейн призначений на посаду федерального державного цивільного службовця.

Відразу після закінчення середньої школи в 1991 році Хінштейн став позаштатним співробітником газети Московський комсомолець. З 1992 до 2003 року був зарахований у штат редакції МК.

У 1999 році Хінштейн опублікував ряд статей, спрямованих проти опального підприємця Бориса Березовського.

У вересні 2006 року він презентував книгу Єльцин. Кремль. Історія хвороби. Під час презентації автор книги заявив, що перший президент Росії був глибоко хворою людиною і його хвороба перекинулася на всю країну.

"Діяльність Хінштейна як журналіста і депутата в цілому оцінювалася вкрай неоднозначно. Його називали "одіозним" і "скандальним" журналістом, публікаціям якого можна вірити "з серйозними поправками" ... Пізніше деякі ЗМІ, висловлюючи відверті сумніви в порядності Хінштейна, стверджували, що його не можна назвати інакше як "зливним бачком" Генпрокуратури, УВБ МВС і ФСБ", - пише Лента.ru.
