Киевский городской совет в четверг переименовал Московский проспект в проспект Степана Бандеры.

За это решение проголосовали 87 депутатов, сообщил в фейсбуке депутат горсовета Юрий Сиротюк.

Кроме того, улица Кутузова стала улицей Генерала Алмазова (генерал-хорунжий Армии УНР), переулок Кутузова - переулком Евгения Гуцало (украинский писатель), улица Суворова - улицей Омеляновича-Павленко (командующий Армии УНР).

Улица Баумана стала улицей Януша Корчака (польский педагог).

Напомним, 21 мая 2015 года в Украине вступили в силу законы о декоммунизации. Согласно одному из них, к топографическим названиям, которые нужно переименовывать, относятся те, в которых использованы имена (псевдонимы) лиц, занимавших руководящие должности в коммунистической партии, высших органах власти и управления СССР, РСФСР, других союзных или автономных республик, работников органов госбезопасности.
