Вероятный кандидат на выдвижение в президенты США от Республиканской партии Дональд Трамп, комментируя нападение во Флориде, вновь повторил свой призыв запретить въезд в страну мусульманам.

Об этом он написал в своем микроблоге в twitter.

"То, что произошло в Орландо, лишь начало. Наши власти слабы и неэффективны. Я призываю к запрету. Необходима жесткость", - написал он.

Как сообщалось, в ночь на воскресенье в гей-клубе "Пульс" в городе Орландо вооруженный мужчина захватил в заложники посетителей, и начал убивать людей.

После освобождения клуба в нем нашли 50 погибших, еще 53 получили ранения.

Президент США Барак Обама заявил, что нападение на ночной клуб в Орландо является терактом и ужасным "актом ненависти".

Нападение совершил человек по имени Омар Матин, которого убили полицейские во время штурма. Сообщалось, что злоумышленник был благосклонен к "радикальной исламистской идеологии".

Информационное агентство т.н. исламского государства Amaq заявило, что исламистская военизированная группировка несет ответственность за стрельбу в гей-клубе в Орландо.
