Лідер гурту Sonic Youth Терстон Мур записав сингл на підтримку кампанії кандидата в президенти США від Демократичної партії сенатора Берні Сандерса.

Композиція називається Feel it in your guts.

Пісня складається з уривків висловлювань Сандерса про економічну нерівність, соціальну несправедливість і права людини.

"Ми з нашим лейблом були натхненні кампанією (Сандерса, - ред.) і подумали, що можемо підтримати її тим, що у нас виходить найкраще. Ми працювали в компанії дивовижних людей, які є соратниками Берні", - розказав глава лейблу Joyful Noise Recordings, на якому Sonic Youth записали пісню, Карл Гофстеттер.

Перша тисяча людей, які зробили пожертви на підтримку президентської кампанії Берні Сандерса, отримали від лейбла вініловий диск із синглом Sonic Youth. На обкладинці платівки зображено портрет американського сенатора-демократа.
