На сайте президента Украины появилась электронная петиция с просьбой назначить третьего президента Виктора Ющенко главой Национального банка. Петиция была зарегистрирована 19 февраля.
 
Инициативу поддержала пресс-секретарь Ющенко Ирина Ванникова, опубликовав на своей странице в Facebook соответствующую ссылку.
 
Ющенко с 1993 по 1999 год уже возглавлял украинский Нацбанк. 
 
"Под его руководством в Украине успешно проведена денежная реформа, создана Государственная казна, а также начато строительство Банкнотно-монетного двора. В 1997 году Ющенко попал в шестерку лучших банкиров мира по версии влиятельного финансового журнала Global Finance", - говорится в тексте петиции.
 
Авторы обращения считают, что благодаря своему опыту и знаниям, Ющенко способен усилить национальную валюту.
 
Напомним, что ранее Ющенко рассказал, как в 2005 году закрыл в кабинете на то время главу СНБО Петра Порошенко и премьера Юлию Тимошенко, чтобы решить политический кризис.
 
Бывший президент провел аналогии между ситуацией в 2005 году и нынешним политическим кризисом в стране.
