Другий за популярністю - незалежний кандидат, професор кафедри психології і педагогіки, колишній ректор Університету Лісабона Антоніу Сампайо да Новоа. Згідно з опитуваннями, від 16,9% до 22,6% виборців віддадуть свій голос.

На третьому місці колишній президент Соціалістичної партії Португалії Марія де Белем. Її готові підтримати від 8% до 16,3% виборців.
