Аналіз отриманих даних свідчить, що кількість переходів з пошуковиків перевищив показники соцмереж лише для двох подій: бою боксерів Флойда Мейвезера і Менні Пакьяо та злам сайту занйомств Ashley Madison.

Також, за даними компанії за жовтень цього року, реферальний трафік з Facebook перевищив трафік з Google (39,2% і 34% відповідно).

Вибірка складалась з найбільш читаних новин мережі компаній, до якої належить більше 400 видань, серед яких Fox News, Telegraph Media Group, Mashable, Business Insider, The Atlantic и Reuters.
