Во время празднований Дня национального флага крымские татары развернули в Киеве крупнейший в Украине флаг, передает Новое время.

В мероприятии приняли участие национальный лидер крымских татар Мустафа Джемилев, председатель меджлиса Рефат Чубаров, известный правозащитник и диссидент Синавер Кадыров.

"Для нас в таком тяжелом состоянии как сейчас важно не забывать свои традиции и обряды. Этот флаг символизирует свободу и равновесие. Тамга показывает баланс между хорошим и плохим", - отметил один из участников митинга.

Джемилев пояснил, что флаг является символом сопротивления оккупационному режиму на полуострове.

"Это символ не только для крымских татар, но и других национальностей, которые верят в тот день, когда Крым будет освобожден и возвращен в состав демократических европейских государств", - сказал он.
