У Білорусі порушили адміністративну справу проти оператора телеканалу «Белсат» Сергія Кравчука.

Жорстку реакцію на роботу журналіста викликала зйомка ним громадських слухань у місті Фаніполь Мінської області. Слухання стосувалися забудови.

«11 квітня знімали сюжет "Громадське обговорення забудови у Фаніполі". У п’ятницю ввечері прийшли до мене міліціонери з понятими і вручили повістку. Склали протокол. Я відмовився давати свідчення. Сказали, щоби чекав на повістку в суд», - розповів Сергій Кравчук.

Супутниковий телеканал «Белсат», де працює оператор, був створений за підтримки польського МЗС та Польського громадського телебачення у 2007 році. Канал мовить білоруською мовою, а журналісти працюють у Білорусі, Литві, Польщі, Чехії.

«Радыё Рацыя» нагадує, що адміністративне переслідування журналістів за роботу без акредитації влада використовує дуже широко. З початку 2015 року білоруських журналістів 12 разів притягали до відповідальності за порушення статті 22.9 Кодексу про адміністративні правопорушення Республіки Білорусь («Порушення законодавства про ЗМІ»). Загальна сума штрафів за цією статтею вже перевищує 60 мільйонів рублів (понад 95 тисяч гривень).
