Парламент Молдавии назначил проведение всеобщих местных выборов в стране на 14 июня. Как передает корреспондент ИА REGNUM, оппозиционные либералы и социалисты предлагали провести выборы еще раньше — 7 июня, но либерал-демократы настояли на дате 14 июня.

Лидер либерал-демократов Владимир Филат аргументировал это тем, что таким образом предвыборная кампания, на которую отводится 60 дней, не затронет период пасхальных праздников, а начнется после них.
