Глава МИД РФ Сергей Лавров заявил, что христиане в Украине подвергаются гонениям.

“Христиане подвергаются гонениям не только на Ближнем Востоке. В Украине, где вслед за антиконституционным переворотом была развязана братоубийственная война, национал-радикалы взяли курс на нагнетание межрелигиозной розни”, - цитирует сделанное в Женеве заявление Лаврова Интерфакс.

Лавров в свойственной России риторике рассказал своей аудитории об “уничтожении православных храмов и монастырей” и “запугиваниях и издевательствах над священниками и верующими”. Многие священники с востока Украины, по его словам, сбежали в Россию, “спасаясь от угроз со стороны экстремистов”.

Помимо Украины, Лавров наградил порцией обвинений также и западные страны.

“Не могу не упомянуть о проблемах, испытываемых христианами в ряде западных государств, где считают неполиткорректным обозначать принадлежность к христианской религии и даже стесняются христианских ценностей, составляющих основу европейской цивилизации”, - представил свое видение глава российской дипломатии.
