У понеділок жителям Лондона, які поспішали на роботу, роздавали саморобні копії номера The Guardian чотирирічної давності.

З’ясувалося, що авторство репродукції належить лондонській художниці, 37-річній Шарлоті Манн (Charlotte Mann),пише Media Sapiens

Про те, що на станції London Bridge людям роздають саморобні копії газети у вівторок повідомив сайт BuzzFeed.

За словами Шарлоти Манн, вона розповсюдила близько 3 тисяч копій, проте не намагалася зробити цей факт публічним.

Їй допомагали студенти Школи мистецтв святого Мартіна та Лондонського коледжу комунікацій.

Художниця пояснила, що навмисно роздавала копії газети без жодних пояснень і хотіла спонукати людей здивуватися.

«Люди абсолютно збиті з пантелику й не розуміють, чому я це зробила», - каже авторка.

Манн використала для копіювання номер Тhe Guardian, опублікований в той день, коли народилася її донька.

Тодішній примірник вийшов із заявою Муаммара Каддафі під час повстання, яке, зрештою, призвело до його повалення та смерті.
