Головний редактор сайту Focus.ua Артем Захарченко пішов з посади через те, що проект реорганізації ресурсу не отримав фінансування від інвестора. Про це пан Захарченко повідомив у коментарі «Телекритиці»

Артем Захарченко працював на посаді головреда сайту «Фокусу» протягом трьох місяців.

«Інвестор не затвердив додатковий бюджет на проект, заради якого я сюди приходив. Причина - криза. Йдеться про масштабний проект перетворення сайту на ресурс з цікавими показниками та різними інноваціями для українського ринку. Щоб втілити цей проект потрібно було б також збільшити кількість журналістів сайту. З цим не склалося, сайт залишиться таким, як є», - розповів Артем Захарченко.

Він також додав, що залишиться працювати у «Фокусі», як і раніше, на півставки, бо поєднує цю роботу з викладанням. Займатиметься написанням статей для журналу.

За словами Артема Захарченка, наразі роботою сайту займається редакція друкованої версії, над матеріалами для сайту продовжують працювати троє журналістів-новинарів. Курує цим процесом заступник головного редактора Михайло Крігель.
