У вільний час між зустріччю із Хілларі Клінтон та поїздкою на Капітолійський пагорб мер Лондона Боріс Джонсон (Boris Johnson) відвідав Таймс-сквер у Нью-Йорку та видав себе за роздавача газет,пише Media Sapiens

Боріс Джонсон прибув на Таймс-сквер вчора після обіду і роздавав примірники London Evening Standard – безкоштовної лондонської щоденної газети.

Як пише The Independent, мер вправно роздавав газети, намагаючись не оминути нікого поблизу.

Нью-йоркський журналіст британської газети Пейтон Гюйон (Payton Guion) розповів, що теж отримав газету від Боріса Джонсона. Попри те, що репортер назвався працівником цього видання і заявив, що йому непотрібна копія, політик наполягав.

Наразі Мер Лондона перебуває у США із шестиденним візитом.
