Французский дизайнер украинского происхождения Йоаким Ронсен, который придумал фразу «Je suis Charlie» и воплотил ее графически, хочет закрепить за собой авторские права на слоган. Но не для того, чтоб на этом славно нажиться, как некоторые могли подумать, я наоборот, чтобы пресечь использование лозунга в корыстных целях.

«Откровенно говоря, меня очень ранит, что люди пытаются заработать денег на этом, –  сказал журналистам Ронсен. – Главным образом потому, что это основательно обесценивает значение слогана. Сейчас мы с юристами стараемся  создать все условия, чтобы гарантировать использование образов из лозунга, только на службе распространения свободы самовыражения».

По информации International Business Times, изображение «Je suis Charlie» белыми и серыми буквами на черном фоне в данный момент используется повсеместно от футболок и стикеров, до кружек, значков и головных уборов.

По словам адвоката Ронсена Мириам Себбан, ее клиент «воспользуется своим авторским правом, чтобы поставить под контроль использование этого лозунга и постараться сохранить его первоначальный смысл». Юрист также отрицает наличие у клиента намеренья использовать фразу, ставшую популярной во всем мире, в коммерческих целях.

Как PRportal ранее сообщал, турецкие власти, под угрозой судебного преследования, запретили публичное использование этой фразы.
