Ссылаясь на последние опросы общественного мнения, Владимир Зеленский сейчас лидирует в рейтинге кандидатов на пост президента Украины, опередив действующего президента Петра Порошенко и бывшего премьера Юлию Тимошенко.

Согласно данным последнего опроса Центра Разумкова, 23% респондентов поддержали Зеленского, а поддержка у Порошенко и Тимошенко - 16,4 и 15,7% соответственно. В опросе участвовало 11 000 человек с погрешность 0,9 процентных пункта.

По другому исследованию, проведенному Рейтинговым агентством, Зеленский лидирует с 19%, затем следует Тимошенко с 18,2% и Порошенко с 15,1%. Опрос проводился среди 6000 человек и имел погрешность 1,3 процентных пункта.

«Высокий рейтинг Зеленского отражает как его популярность в качестве телезвезды, так и разочарование общественности нынешними лидерами, - объясняют поддержку Зеленского в Ассошиэйтед пресс. - Украина столкнулась с экономическими проблемами и резким снижением уровня жизни после аннексии Россией Крыма и сепаратистского мятежа на востоке».

НБУ сохранит текущую процентную ставку на уровне 18%, чтобы снизить темпы роста инфляции до целевого показателя, говориться в сообщении Reuters.

Украина не снижала свою ключевую ставку с мая 2017 года, и некоторые аналитики, опрошенные агентством Рейтер, ожидали, что более благоприятная инфляционная тенденция приведет к снижению, но в НБУ сказали, что этого не произойдет.

«Любые дальнейшие изменения в ключевой ставке будут зависеть от динамики инфляции, а также от того, материализуются ли риски для стабильности цен», - заявили там, отметив необходимость продолжать существующие достаточно жесткие денежно-кредитные условия, чтобы гарантировать, что инфляция вернется к своему целевому показателю в 1 квартале 2020 года.

Нацбанк также объявил о небольшом пересмотре прогноза экономического роста на 2018 год до 3,3% с 3,4%, но сохранил свой прогноз на 2019 год без изменений на уровне 2,5%.

Газета The Guardian сообщила про удаление Facebook и Twitter сотен аккаунтов, связанных с Ираном, Россией и Венесуэлой.

Facebook и Twitter объявили в четверг, что они удалили сотни учетных записей, которые, как считается, были частью скоординированных операций влияния из Ирана, России и Венесуэлы.

Facebook сообщил, что удалил 783 страницы, групп и аккаунтов, которые, по его словам, выдавали себя за местных жителей в странах Европы, Ближнего Востока и Южной Азии, и продвигали контент, который был в значительной степени перенаправлен из иранских государственных СМИ.

Отдельно Twitter объявил, что он удалил тысячи «злонамеренных» аккаунтов из России, Ирана и Венесуэлы. Компания сообщила, что на счетах проводились «ограниченные операции», предназначенные для промежуточных выборов в США в прошлом ноябре, и большинство из них были приостановлены до дня выборов.
