У Японії 27-річного китайського студента довелося рятувати на горі Фудзі двічі за чотири дні. Спочатку він піднявся на гору поза офіційним сезоном сходжень — і його спускали з вершини гелікоптером. А потім він вирішив повернутись на вершину, щоб знайти забутий телефон.

Уперше студента врятували з гори через те, що він піднявся на вершину не в сезон, який триває з липня до вересня. Він втратив спеціальне спорядження — кішки. Це пристрої з шипами, які кріплять до підошви взуття для кращого зчеплення. Тож на допомогу викликали евакуаційний гелікоптер.
Проте через кілька днів він знову повернувся на гору, щоб забрати речі, які загубив на вершині, зокрема телефон. Його знову врятували після того, як у нього розвинулась гірська хвороба, але зараз його життю нічого не загрожує.
Через суворі погодні умови людей застерігають від сходжень на Фудзі поза офіційним сезоном. Усі стежки до вершини гори зараз закриті. У ці місяці погода може різко погіршитися, що ускладнює роботу рятувальників.
