В Болгарії на урочистих заходах з нагоди з нагоди 140-річчя Шипкинської епопеї було розгорнуто прапор так званої "ДНР".

Про це повідомив посол України в Болгарії Микола Балтажи.

"Розглядаю це, серед іншого, як знущання над пам'яттю українських воїнів і справжніх ополченців, які принесли свободу на болгарську землю. Наполягаю на проведенні болгарською владою розслідування цієї брудної провокації", - заявив український дипломат.

У свою чергу міністр закордонних справ Болгарії Єкатєріна Захарієва назвала інцидент з прапором ДНР "неприємною історією".

"Насправді неприємна історія. Ми – вільна країна, де кожен має право на свою думку. Але ця республіка ніким не визнана", - сказала глава болгарського МЗС.

За її словами, цей інцидент міг перерости у скандал, якби прапор розгорнув якийсь чиновник.

"У цьому випадку йдеться про громадян, які мають право на свою думку", - додала вона.
