27 февраля 2017-го года на Шулявке в Киеве обвалился мост. Фотографии пострадавшей конструкции стали публиковать случайные прохожие, в ходе выяснения причин обрушения моста дело дошло до мэра Киева Виталия Кличко. Как передаёт PRпортал со ссылкой на телеканал «112 Украина», киевский градоначальник заявил, что мост не был занесён в список аварийных конструкций, он «просто устал».

По словам Кличко, главной причиной, по которой обрушился мост на Шулявке, является время, от которого он «устал». Кроме того, киевский градоначальник считает, что конструкция могла стать ветхой из-за неправильной эксплуатации: под мостом находились МАФы, среди которых был пожар. Фактически, это наводит на мысль о том, что «были нарушены условия эксплуатации» моста.

Виталий Кличко также заверил общественность, что ввиду нынешнего состояния моста будет назначено полное обследование конструкции. В настоящее время возвращать мост в эксплуатацию не будут, только после проведения соответствующих работ целесообразность запуска моста будет рассматриваться. Напомним, мост в ходе обрушения помял ряд автомобилей, о жертвах среди людей не сообщалось.
