На Софійській площі у Києві відкрили головну ялинку країни, на урочистість прийшли багато киян та гостей столиці.

Про це повідомляє "Інтерфакс-Україна".

Зазначається, що ялинку прикрашає понад 20 тис. іграшок - червоного та золотого кольору, а над ялинкою сяє гірлянда у вигляді великого купола.

Цього року тема головної святкової локації присвячена Різдвяній ночі. Різдвяне дійство відтворено по колу, як вертеп. Навколо ялинки - постаті Ісуса, Матері Божої, святого Йосипа, пастухів, царів, янголів та колядників.

Також навколо пам'ятника Богдану Хмельницькому облаштовано ковза

Мер Києва Віталій Кличко під час виступу пообіцяв, що у неділю, 19 грудня, на Софійській площі Святий Миколай привітає киян і гостей міста.нку.
