Столичний пам'ятник засновникам Києва, який розташований на Майдані Незалежності, одягли у вишиванку, щоправда, лише Либідь, Кий Щек та Хорив, які стоять поруч, залишилися без вишиванок, йдеться в ТСН. 

Так у столиці вирішили відзначити Всесвітній день вишиванки. Двометрову сорочку для пам'ятника, з червоною вишивкою, зробили майстри зі Львова.
