2 травня поліцейські Берегового зафіксували факт поширення листівок з погрозами українцям угорського походження. Провокаційні написи виявили на кількох будинках місцевих жителів.
 
Невідомі розклеїли по місту листівки, які зробили з жовто-блакитним тлом. На листівках написали антиугорський текст із погрозами. Листівки покликані сприйматися як погроза угорській меншині з боку українських націоналістів.
 
Слідчі поліції кваліфікують такі дії зловмисників за ч.2 ст.161 Кримінального кодексу України, тобто порушення рівноправності громадян залежно від їх національної приналежності, по'єднані з погрозами.
 
Санкція статті передбачає до 5 років позбавлення волі.
