За інформацією видання, раніше стало відомо, що на тлі оголошеної в країні 21 вересня мобілізації в багатьох містах, у тому числі в Костромі, почалися протести. У низці регіонів вони набули масового характеру.

Протестувальників жорстко затримувала поліція. На Північному Кавказі, незважаючи на посилення покарання за участь у неузгоджених акціях, на масові протести почали виходити матері зі сльозами на очах і криками "Не віддамо дітей і чоловіків у пекло".

За даними "Медузи", з повідомлень із різних джерел випливає, що від початку оголошеної "часткової мобілізації" в Росії намагалися підпалити щонайменше п'ять військкоматів.
