Єдиним героєм випуску Playboy вдруге за багаторічну історію журналу став чоловік. Обкладинку глянцю прикрасив репер Bad Bunny, і якщо його шанувальники ідею оцінили, то постійні читачі журналу вирішили, що покійний Х'ю Хефнер перекинувся в труні.

Примітно, що першим і єдиним донедавна чоловіком на обкладинці Playboy був сам Х'ю Хефнер - творець культового глянцю та компанії Playboy Enterprises. Але і це стало винятком, так як тематичний випуск був присвячений Хефнеру після його смерті.

У липні цього року автори журналу вирішили знову здивувати читачів і помістити на обкладинку 26-річного пуерториканця Беніто Окасіо, більш відомого під сценічним ім'ям Bad Bunny.

Епатажний репер частенько експериментує з модою і задає тренди екстравагантних нарядів. Що правда, часто вони йдуть врозріз з так званими традиційними образами чоловіків-плейбоїв. Доволі яскравий стиль Bad Bunny обрав і для фотосесії Playboy.

Реакція читачів виявилася неоднозначною. Деякі впевнені, що це непоганий крок до різноманітності журналу, адже змінюються часи, змінюються читачі. Інші припустили, що творець журналу явно був би проти подібних експериментів, адже Хефнер прославився класиком з дуже тонким смаком.
