Зять президента США Дональда Трампа - Джаред Кушнер согласился дать показания Комитету Сената США по разведке в рамках расследования вмешательства России в выборы в США.

Об этом в понедельник сообщил представитель Белого дома, передает CNN.

"В течение всей кампании и переходного периода, Джаред Кушнер был основной точкой контакта с правительствами иностранных государств и чиновников", - заявил представитель Белого дома.

"Учитывая такую роль, он вызвался поговорить с председателем Комитета (Ричардом - Ред.) Бурром, но пока не было получено подтверждение", - сказал он.

Два источника издания сообщили, что Комитет Сената хотел допросить Кушнера, который является ключевым советником президента, в рамках своего расследования. Однако сроки разговора с зятем Трампа еще не были определены.
