Звільненому зі скандалом російському журналістові Олександру Плющеву заборонили вхід на радіостанцію "Эхо Москвы". Розпорядження з'явилося на сайті радіостанції в п'ятницю, 7 листопада,пише ТСН

"Просимо Вас дати розпорядження не допускати з сьогоднішнього дня 06.11.2014 в будівлю колишнього співробітника нашої радіостанції Плющева Олександра Володимировича. Дякуємо, сподіваємося на позитивну реакцію і подальшу співпрацю", - йдеться в розпоряджені.

Журналіст Олександр Плющев повідомив про своє звільнення 6 листопада. Рішення про звільнення журналіста прийняв холдинг "Газпром-медіа", пояснивши це "порушенням журналістом всіх допустимих морально-етичних норм".

Головний редактор "Эха" Олексій Венедиктов не визнає наказ про звільнення Плющева і вважає його незаконним, тому не буде підписувати заяву про звільнення. Через це голова ради директорів холдингу "Газпром-медіа" Михайло Лесін допустив можливість відставки і Олексія Венедиктова.

Причин для звільнення, за словами журналіста "Эха" Іллі Рождєствєнського, було дві. Першою став твіт Плющева про загибель сина голови адміністрації президента Сергія Іванова, який потонув 3 листопада. У своєму Твітері журналіст запитав у читачів, чи вважають вони загибель Олександра Іванова доказом існування вищої справедливості.

Другою причиною став ефір про бої в донецькому аеропорту від 29 жовтня, за який Роскомнагляд 31 жовтня виніс попередження радіостанції та її сайту. У програмі "Своими глазами" брали участь журналіст Los Angeles Times Сергій Лойко і Тимур Олевський, який співпрацює одночасно і з "Дождем", і з "Эхом".
