Газета The New York Times назвала найкращі фото 2014 року, до яких потрапили знімки з України.

Видання обрало 12 найкращих фотографій, відповідно до кількості місяців у році,пише Media Sapiens

Серед січневих та лютневих фото були відзначені знімки з Києва. На одному з них зображено священиків, які стоять між протестувальниками та міліцією на вулиці Грушевського і моляться. На іншому зафіксовано події 19 лютого, коли були підпалені барикади, аби зупинити наступ силовиків на Майдан.

Фотографіями місяця також були названі знімки з Туреччини, Афганістану, Мексики, Ліберії та інших країн. На кожному із них відображено важливу чи проблемну ситуацію в суспільно-політичному житті.

Загалом The New York Times обрала 100 найбільш знакових фото.
