Зять і радник президента США Дональда Трампа Джаред Кушнер використовував особисту електронну пошту для листування в Білому домі з іншими посадовими особами в адміністрації.

Про це повідомляє Українська правда із аосиланням на  Reuters 

Кушнер вів переписку про висвітлення роботи адміністрації в ЗМІ, планування заходів та інші події.

Адвокат Кушнера Еббі Лоуелл підтвердила, що він використовував свою особисту пошту для листування в Білому домі. За її словами, з січня по серпень Кушнер отримав або відправив близько сотні таких електронних листів.

Politico відзначає, що також і інші чиновники в оточенні Трампа використовували свою особисту електронну пошту. Серед них колишній начальник апарату адміністрації президента Рейнс Прібус, екс-радник Трампа зі стратегічних питань Стів Беннон і радник з економічних питань Гері Кон.

Нагадаємо, коли Гілларі Клінтон займала посаду державного секретаря, використовувала приватний сервер для службового листування, за що була розкритикована. За словами опонентів, секретні дані могли бути вкрадені хакерами, а Клінтон могла стерти компрометуючі листи, незважаючи на те, що згідно із законом США листування чиновників повинно бути збережено.

Дональд Трамп в ході передвиборних дебатів в 2016 році заявляв, що Клінтон була б у в'язниці, в тому випадку, якщо б він був президентом.
