Колишній президент Латвії Андріс Берзіньш фігурує в кримінальному процесі про можливе незаконне фінансування партій, повідомляє Delfi з посиланням на журнал Ir.

Відзначається, що Берзіньшу, можливо, було доручено знайти заможних формальних спонсорів, які замість справжніх жертводавців перерахували б кілька десятків тисяч євро на передвиборчі потреби партії СЗК.

Бюро по запобіганню та боротьбі з корупцією оголосив, що в цілому по кримінальному процесу про незаконне фінансування партій були затримані чотири особи.

Відомо, що в їх числі мер Юрмали Гатіс Труксніс, в свій час пов'язаний з партією No sirds Latvijai фінансист Йорен Райтумс і бізнесмен Юлій Круміньш.

Телеканал TV3 повідомив, що до справи може бути причетний також голова правління ТОВ Blaizer — AG Анрі Курсітіс.
