Журнал Forbes вирішив запровадити фіксовану платню для своїх дописувачів.
 

Як повідомляє Media Sapiens із посиланням на The Wall Street Journal, автори отримуватимуть фіксовану суму в $250 на місяць плюс платню за написані ними матеріали. Водночас Forbes має намір відсіяти 10% найгіших дописувачів. Зараз для сайту пишуть близько 1,5 тисячі позаштатних авторів. До цього 60% з них не отримували винагороду за свої матеріали.

На думку WSJ, таким чином журнал прагне підвищити якість контенту, який публікується на його сайті. Раніше відкриту секцію для блогерів закрило  видання Huff Post. А в Axios запустили невеличку мережу авторів-фрілансерів, які також отримують платню за свої статті.

Нагадаємо, у грудні в Forbes був призначений новий керівник відділу контенту в журналі. За його словами, кількість штатних авторів та фрілансерів не зміниться радикально, а виплатою винагород Forbes буде заохочувати авторів, які пишуть якісні матеріали. 

Нещодавно Міністерство фінансів США склало так званий «список Путіна», в який внесло 210 осіб, наближених до президента РФ Володимира Путіна. Для створення списку відомство зокрема використовувало дані з рейтингу найбагатших людей журналу Forbes. На початку січня Bloomberg писав про те, що бізнесмени старалися не потрапити до рейтингу Forbes, аби уникнути включення до «списку Путіна». Вони також проводили стрес-тести, аби спрогнозувати можливі наслідки для своїх бізнесів.
