Заява депутата російської Думи Володимира Жириновського про необхідність забрати у Литви Вільнюс і Клайпеду можна розцінювати як замах на територіальну цілісність Литви.

Про це заявив міністр внутрішніх справ Литви Саулюс Скверняліс, пише Delfi, передає Укрінформ.

За його словами, питання включення російського політика до списку небажаних у країні осіб повинні вирішувати компетентні органи.

"Я вважаю, що такі заяви можуть розцінюватися як замах на територіальну цілісність Литви, і це основні конституційні принципи, які треба захищати в країні. Тому вважаю, що достатньо підстав оголосити його персоною нон грата", - сказав він.

У свою чергу, віце-міністр закордонних справ Литви Неріс Германас сказав, що на заяви Жириновського Литва не повинна реагувати.

Місцеве видання зазначає, що скандальними заявами на адресу Литви та країн Балтії Жириновський відрізняється не вперше.
