Знаменитий французький актор Жерар Депардьє зіграє роль Сталіна у новому фільмі, який планує зняти зірка французького кінематографу Фанні Ардан.

Про це повідомляє AFP з посиланням на інформацію прес-секретаря актора, пише Європейська правда.

За словами представника актора, режисером картини буде французька кінозірка Фанні Ардан, яка хоче екранізувати роман Жана-Даніеля Балтасса 2013 року "Диван Сталіна".

В центрі сюжету роману, дія якого відбувається у СРСР 1950-х років, - історія молодого художника, який отримує завдання створити пам'ятник Сталіну, але опиняється під пильною увагою КДБ.

Фільм випустить франко-португальська компанія Leopardo Filmes, в той час як студія "Мосфільм" надасть костюми і реквізит.

Нагадаємо, влітку цього року Служба безпеки України ухвалила рішення про заборону в'їзду на територію країни французькому актору з російським громадянством Жерару Депардьє на 5 років.
