Президент Володимир Зеленський підписав закон №3995, який дозволяє кандидатам балотуватися на місцевих виборах без надання довідки про несудимість. Про це свідчать дані на сайті Верховної Ради.

17 вересня закон підписав спікер Парламенту Дмитро Разумков, а 18 вересня він був повернутий з підписом від Зеленського.

Законопроект вилучає п. 9 ч. 1 ст. 222 Виборчого кодексу України, що потребує надання довідки про наявність або відсутність судимості для деяких кандидатів на місцевих виборах.

“У такий спосіб всі кандидати на місцевих виборах будуть у рівних умовах стосовно підтвердження несудимості та зазначатимуть про це відомості лише в автобіографії “, – наголошується в пояснювальній записці.

Згідно з Виборчим кодексом, кандидати в депутати на місцевих виборах повинні надавати довідки про наявність чи відсутність судимості, видані уповноваженим органом після початку виборчого процесу.

Надання такої довідки здійснюється протягом 30 календарних днів з дня надходження запиту.
