В інтерв'ю телеканалу Fox News він заявив, що переживає за країну і завжди готовий до боротьби.

"Я глибоко переживаю за Америку. Ми з вами давно є частиною консервативного руху. Я маю намір продовжувати в тому ж дусі", — додав Помпео.

18 лютого Трамп заявляв, що ще не готовий точно сказати, чи буде балотуватися в президенти в 2024 році.

Водночас на конференції республіканців 28 лютого Трамп заявив, що зможе отримати перемогу на виборах "втретє". Він повторив переконання, що виграв президентські перегони в 2020 році.
